Who are you serving? In many cases you’ll be addressing at least two audiences, faculty and students. Each faces different content issues, but other considerations need to be taken into account, such as the venues in which each group might be best approached.
Distinguish audience groups.
Do any of the audience groups include sub-groups,and if so what issues pertain to that group or group?
Adjuncts — does the system add them to course shells at the same time and in the same way as tenure track faculty? Adjuncts work less frequently and often deal with different schools, so the group is likely less familiar with protocols and policies than are the tenure track faculty. Can they be isolated as a cohort and reached with messages tailored to their needs?
