This is the third part of a symposium covering the social and environmental impact of the mass flooding that occurred in Passaic County, NJ during 2011. This part is organized as a question and answer panel session addressing long-term municipal and state planning and responses to flood-related disasters. Part 1 of the symposium contains the keynote address, while part 2 has the symposium’s first panel discussion addressing the practical matters involved in planning and responding to flood-related disasters.
