Rob Fusari – producer and songwriter for Lady Gaga, L.A. Reid, Whitney Houston, Will Smith, and Destiny’s Child – discusses his career in the music industry. Topics include Fusari’s beginnings with mentor Irwin Levine, how he learned to write songs, and his subsequent production career. Fusari discusses his path to producing for a who’s who of the music industry, from small-time beginnings producing out of his mother’s home, through his subsequent move to Los Angeles, to his eventual return to New Jersey after learning important music business lessons the hard way. The second half of the discussion focuses on Fusari’s influential role in Lady Gaga’s career.
