On January 8 2013, The New York times reported, “Global warming has become perhaps the most complicated issue facing world leaders”. However, Global warming not only effects world leaders bout all of us. We are in this together. Matter of fact it’s society are part contributors; according to the New York Times, The primary results of reasoning behind global warming is due to the “emissions from unfettered burning of fossil fuels and the razing of tropical forest”. It has been reported by the National Climatic Data Center that the year 2012 have been the hottest year ever season round in the United States; since records first been recorded in the year 1895. President Obama has been working to help reduce global warming. Obama financed clean energy projects and pursued new regulations emissions from power plants and cars. Since President Obama took office in 2008 he managed to keep the United States emissions down by 6 percent within the past five years. His goal in regards to global warming is to reduce the US emissions 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020. For the most part, the US emissions were down by 6 percent largely due to the effects of the recession and the drop in industrial and electricity production.
